On the back of his August 2021 merger with Preqin, the global leader in alternative asset data, tools and insights, Colmore continued to experience a phase of strong growth. Today, Colmore has more than 200 professionals working in its four offices around the world. Colmore, formerly a middle and back office technology function for a global asset manager, is struggling to find talent within the industry. Its hiring thesis ensures that the team delivers differentiated solutions designed for LPs, by LPs.
To continue its track record of success, Colmore is proud to announce the following key hires:
Dominic Critchley joined as Co-Head of Fund Accounting (EU) and brings over 25 years of experience in fund accounting and investment operations. He joins Colmore after serving as head of investment accounting for the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, one of the world’s largest limited partners. Previously, Dominic was a director at BlackRock, responsible for fund administration in the UK, Ireland and Luxemburg ranges of funds for individuals and institutions.
Dominic will work closely with Veronique Harris, who was also recently promoted to co-head of fund accounting (US), after many years of providing strong leadership on Colmore’s US accounting team. Dominic and Veronica will work closely to support Colmore’s growing allocation fund administration clientele.
Jordan Heetland joined Colmore as senior vice president and head of North American sales. He comes from an alternative software vendor, where he worked closely with the LP and fund-of-funds community. Jordan has extensive industry experience, with previous roles in wealth management platforms and investment management. He will help further support Colmore’s North American clients by getting the best insights and consolidated analysis of their investment portfolios.
Henry Tran joined Colmore as a Senior Solutions Architect to support Colmore’s ongoing innovations in data and analytics, bringing over 20 years of experience in application development and data platform solutions . Prior to joining Colmore, Henry worked at MUFG Capital Analytics and JP Morgan Chase, working on private markets technology for LPs and GPs.
Commenting on the nominations, Ben Cook, CEO of Colmore, said: “The best customers deserve the best people. We work hard to develop our people and augment them with exceptional recruits from across the industry. I’m delighted that people like Dominic, Jordan and Henry have joined us. I’m also delighted that Veronica be recognized for her hard work. We have an exciting and ambitious year ahead of us. This is a great way to start.
The new hires are part of Colmore and Preqin’s efforts to provide customers with the best solutions throughout the private markets lifecycle. By continuing to attract the best talent in the industry, Colmore will strengthen its innovative technology solutions, as well as its superior accounting and administrative services for an ever-growing number of LPs. This is particularly crucial in today’s environment, in which investors increasingly need cutting-edge monitoring and analytical capabilities to navigate new complexities – such as an increased focus on ESG, regulatory potential and the desire for increased transparency and returns.
