Paris, December 14, 2021 – Bharti Airtel (“Airtel”), India’s leading communications and solutions provider, and Capgemini announced today that they will work together to bring 5G-based enterprise solutions to the Indian market.
Airtel and Capgemini will pool their experience in connectivity and 5G solutions, as well as their systems integration (IS) capabilities, to co-innovate a range of India-focused use cases. Capgemini’s 5G Lab, located on its Mumbai campus, and Airtel’s 5G Lab in Manesar will be the development poles.
Two 5G use cases have already been deployed by Capgemini at Airtel 5G Lab. These focus on smart health and immersive remote assistance for field operations and maintenance. These use case solutions are based on computer vision, video analytics, augmented reality, and AI / ML technologies.

As part of its # 5GforBusiness initiative, Airtel is partnering with global consulting and technology companies to test 5G-based solutions.
