Entwickler Sprybug hat bereits letztes Jahr eine Demoversion zu seinem Super Mario Bros. Demake für den Atari 2600 veröffentlicht. Abgesehen von der Grafik soll es schon ziemlich nahe an das NES-Original herankommen. Jetzt gibt es das komplette Spiel als echtes Modul inklusive Box und Anleitung. Allerdings nur 100 Stück, danach wird das Demake nur noch als loses Modul verkauft.

Princess Rescue kostet 50$ und kann bereits vorbestellt werden, die Auslieferung beginnt am 1. Juli. Wie im letzten Jahr gibt es auch 2013 einen NES-Athon. Vom 5. bis zum 9. Juni werden 100 Stunden am Stück NES-Spiele gezockt. A ‘minimalist’ metroidvania (if there is such a thing). We tried to focus on the feel of the world and the ambience to make it seem like a nice place to wander around. The game focuses on exploration, with some platforming and light puzzle elements.

Von Prince of Persia 2 für das SNES wurde nun ein Prototyp veröffentlicht. Es scheint nur kleine Unterschiede zum Original zu geben, aber Interessierte werden sich das bestimmt näher anschauen wollen.
